The Research Center for Sustainability Studies is a central unit of Bremen University. In 1989, the artec was established as Work and Technology Research Centre. artec focuses on achieving an interdisciplinary research spectrum by combining competencies of scientists from different faculties. Within the scope of research activities and courses the sustainability topic is being studied with respect to social, economic and ecologic perspectives. The scientific consultancy aims at supporting sustainable development in relevant fields of activity.
